Welcome to Rahi Travel. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern all travel-related and business services offered by Rahi Travel ("we", "us", "our") through our physical offices and website Rahi Travels: Your Trusted Travel Partner in South Africa | Rahi Travels. By using our services or confirming a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
GENERAL TERMS
Rahi Travel operates as a travel agent and fulfillment partner, facilitating bookings between customers and third-party suppliers including airlines, hotels, tour operators, and visa agencies.
Bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective suppliers, including cancellation, amendment, and refund policies.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the accuracy of personal and travel information provided.
FLIGHT BOOKINGS & AIRLINE TICKETING
2.1 Booking Confirmation
All airline bookings are subject to availability and confirmed only upon full or partial payment.
Prices are subject to change until the ticket is issued. No verbal confirmation is binding until a valid electronic ticket (e-ticket) is issued.
2.2 Passenger Details
Passenger names must be exactly as they appear on the travel document (passport or ID).
Incorrect names may result in refusal by the airline to board or may require a new ticket.
2.3 Airline Schedule Changes
Airlines may change flight times, routes, or cancel flights without prior notice.
Rahi Travel is not responsible for such changes but will assist in rebooking or rerouting as per airline policies.
2.4 Customer-Initiated Changes or Cancellations
All requests for ticket changes, cancellations, or refunds must be made in writing to customercare@rahitravelsandtour.com.
Airline-imposed fees for date changes, cancellations, or refunds will apply, in addition to Rahi Travel’s service fee.
Refund eligibility and amounts are governed by the fare rules of the respective airline.
2.5 Refund Timelines
Refunds (if approved) may take up to 8–12 weeks, depending on the airline’s internal processing time.
HOLIDAY PACKAGES
3.1 Inclusions & Exclusions
Each holiday package includes only what is explicitly listed in the booking confirmation or invoice.
Services such as visa assistance, travel insurance, personal expenses, or special activities are excluded, unless clearly stated.
3.2 Payment Terms
Payment terms for holiday packages will vary depending on the supplier and package type.
Customers will be informed of the applicable payment deadlines and conditions at the time of booking.
3.3 Changes & Cancellations
The cancellation and change policy for each holiday package will be specified in the package-specific terms and conditions provided at the time of quotation or booking.
It is the customer's responsibility to carefully review and accept these specific conditions before confirming and making payment.
In all cases, Rahi Travel’s service fee is non-refundable, regardless of the supplier’s refund status.
VISA APPLICATION SUPPORT
Visa services are limited to application assistance; final approval lies with the relevant embassy or consulate.
Rahi Travel is not responsible for any delays, denials, or travel disruptions caused by visa issues.
All visa-related fees are non-refundable once submitted, even if the visa is denied or delayed.
REFUND POLICY
5.1 Eligibility
Refunds are only processed when permitted by the original supplier (airline, hotel, tour operator).
Service fees paid to Rahi Travel are non-refundable, except in cases of clear agent error.
5.2 Processing Time
Airline refunds: 6–12 weeks
Holiday package refunds: 2–6 weeks (if applicable under that package's specific terms)
Visa-related fees: Non-refundable
CHANGES TO BOOKINGS
All requests to modify bookings (names, dates, itineraries, services) must be submitted in writing.
Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional costs or penalties imposed by suppliers.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure passports are valid for at least 6 months beyond the return travel date.
Meet all travel, visa, vaccination, and health requirements for the destination country.
Confirm flight times, baggage allowance, and check-in requirements directly with the airline.
Arrive at the airport with sufficient time: at least 3 hours before international flights and 2 hours before domestic flights.
Provide accurate booking details, including correct spellings of names.
Keep emergency contact numbers and travel confirmations safely stored.
Review and verify all travel information (itinerary, names, dates, times) prior to making payment.
7.1 Responsibility to Request Fare Conditions
Before confirming any airline ticket, holiday package, or travel service:
The customer is responsible to ask the Rahi Travel agent to explain:
No-show policy
Refund eligibility and process
Change/reissue rules and penalties
If this information is not voluntarily offered, it is the customer’s duty to request it prior to confirming the booking.
Any misunderstanding or assumption about flexibility or refund rights will not be grounds for a refund or waiver after payment is made.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Rahi Travel is not liable for:
Acts or omissions of third-party suppliers.
Delays, overbooking, cancellation, or force majeure events.
Personal injury, loss of baggage, denied boarding, or missed connections.
Our total liability is strictly limited to the amount paid to us for the affected service.
PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION
All customer information is treated confidentially.
Data will be shared only with suppliers involved in fulfilling the booking.
We do not sell or misuse your personal information.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed and interpreted according to the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of South African courts.
